Born and raised in Mexico. Josefina has a linguistics degree from UMSNH, as well as an ESL teacher diploma. She worked as a writer for local magazines and television in Morelia, her hometown, and in the successful interactive educational platform Knotion. She studied Film Arts at Langara College and currently lives in Vancouver, Canada, where she works as a writer and script supervisor.
Her short work has been featured in Whistler Film Festival, and nominated to a Leo Award.
Josefina nació y creció en México, donde obtuvo su Licenciatura en Lengua y Literaturas Hispánicas por parte de la UMSNH, así como un diploma en enseñanza del inglés. Trabajó para publicaciones y televisión en su ciudad natal, Morelia, así como para la plataforma educativa Knotion. Estudió Film Arts en Langara College y actualmente vive en Vancouver, Canadá, donde trabaja de escritora y supervisora de guión.
Sus cortometrajes han estado en el Festival de Cine de Whistler, y nominados a un Premio Leo.
